Izannery joined the NLC team in August 2023, assuming the role of a Biotech Venture Developer intern. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from UFPB, Brazil, and subsequently achieved an International Master's Degree in Innovative Medicine through the Erasmus Mundus collaboration between the University of Groningen in the Netherlands and Uppsala University in Sweden. Recognizing the ongoing need to bridge the gap between academia and industry, throughout her academic journey, she focused on scientific projects with high potential for translating to patient benefits, with experience in academic settings as well as at large-scale pharmaceutical corporations. This combination between academic and industry experience equips her with a comprehensive perspective on advancing biomedical solutions and opportunities, aligned with NLC.
